Situation: Minneapolis Vintage Market is a brand new project that was launched in June 2018 by the people behind Minneapolis Craft Market. Local vintage vendors found that pop-up events were successful, so they sought out a regular outlet for vintage traders to reach the community. From there, the monthly marketplace came to fruition, but needed a social media marketing strategy to take off.

Solution: Organically grow an Instagram following from scratch. Post regularly and create engaging stories to create buzz around the launch of the market. Execute a styled photo shoot for marketing imagery.

Outcome: 0 to 1000+ followers in 4 weeks, 13% engagement leading up to launch, 2,000+ event attendees, press coverage from City Pages, The Minnesota Daily, and Minnesota Monthly.
