College was a non-stop series of quarter-life crises for me. In a career landscape that preaches “specialization!”, I felt pressured to ignore my love for photography/arts and just focus on marketing since that's what would pay the bills. We've been spoon-fed the story of the "starving artist" since we could walk, so making a living by creating pretty things seemed like a pipe dream. But, like the millennial contrarian I strive to be, I said so what?
I DECIDED TO PURSUE A MAGICAL THING CALLED ENTREPRENEURSHIP
I set out for a different path. The one where art can sell, where marketing can be beautiful, and I can work with creative people with big ideas. I like to make stuff for brands with a heart and a soul (zombie brands need not apply).
